With a focus on deep breathing and seasonal balance, this class combines yoga postures, the breath and Ayurveda principles. Practice Yoga for winter balance and finish your Ayurvedic lesson at the end with seasonal balancing food for the season. Kitchari, chutney and chai. All Levels. “A la carte” fees (paid directly to the instructor; please bring cash or check to 1st class): $10 per person.
Ann Wagoner is a certified practitioner of Ayurveda who researched Ayurvedic treatments and herbs for the prevention of Cancer recurrence with the Mount Madonna Institute College of Ayurveda. She is a member of NAMA, the National Ayurvedic Medical Association, as well as Yoga Alliance. She weaves together Ayurveda and Yoga, two sister sciences, to expand our mind, body and consciousness.
